Amazon to purchase RadioShack stores
It’s no news RadioShack is going straight down the dran. They have been for a long time, and I am actually surprised the company is still going. It may soon come to an end, hough, as RadioShack is said to be planning on filing for bankruptcy. What will happen with all the retail locations?
The latest reports say Amazon is thinking about grabbing some of them and using them as its own retail locations. These stores would provide an environment where people can check out Amazon’s products, as well as working as the perfect pick up and delivery locations.
Opinion: It will be interesting to see how Amazon works in brick-and-mortar operations. They have stayed internet-exclusive until very recently. Can Amazon handle actual stores as well as they handle their online business?
