Asus GeForce GTX 960 OC Mini, compact graphics card coming-The consumption characteristics and performance of the GeForce GTX 960 make it, like its predecessors, a solution that is well suited to compact PC with a decent power, to be used to play in Full HD or for multimedia.
For this we are surprised to learn that Asus has almost completed the development of the Asus GeForce GTX 960 OC Mini, a card more compact than traditional ones due to a PCB along “only” 17 cm.
The company, moreover, did not have to do anything but take the heat sink with fan DirectCU Cooltech and mount it on the PCB, where reside the GM206 GPU with 1024 CUDA cores and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory powered by a 128-bit bus.
While a traditional GeForce GTX 960 has a base frequency of 1126 MHz to 1178 MHz in which salt GPU Boost, the solution of Asus should operate at 1190/1253 MHz (thanks also to 4 + 1 phases Power Super Alloy), while the memory will remain unchanged at 7010 MHz.
The board also has an SLI connector and a 6-pin connector for an additional power supply compared to 75 watt offered by the PCIe slots. Rounding out the features three DisplayPort outputs, one HDMI 2.0 and DVI dual link.
According to leaked information the card will debut in the coming weeks at a price of about 2390 crowns (in Sweden), the exchange rate around 250 Euros.
