The hugely popular Xiaomi Mi Pad was a 2014 powerhouse, with a lot of the credit going to the NVIDIA Tegra K1 chips.
A new leak shows Intel is the brains of the forthcoming Mi Pad 2 – which keeps its 7.9-inch display but takes on more of a tablet feel, rather than the phablet look of the current model.
It’s likely to run Android 4.4.4 KitKat but as the base for the MIUI Android interface, which offers lots of extra and tweaked features, as well as weekly updates.
